Malahide


1958 - Infant Jesus Sisters arrive in Malahide and open their community house in Bloomfield to welcome a small group of young girls to the junior and secondary schools.

There is great rejoicing when the junior school is built and, later, the secondary school for girls.









1976 - Time to welcome the boys of Malahide and Portmarnock, so Scoil Iosa becomes Pobal Scoil Iosa, a community school that today educates more than 1,000 students.
